Full list: NERC approves addition of 60 more EKEDC feeders to Band A

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has approved the addition of 60 Band A feeders for the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) network.

This brings the total of EKEDC Band A feeders to 134.

“We are glad to inform you that following our consistent demonstration of service compliance, NERC has approved sixty (60) additional Band A feeders in our network,” EKEDC said on its official X account.

In a statement issued by the company on Tuesday and covered by other publications, EKEDC’s corporate communications chief, Babatunde Lasaki, expressed optimism in the DisCo’s capacity to accommodate more feeders in the Band A category as approved by NERC.

Lasaki further stated the EKEDC’s commitment to improving its services by leveraging technology and improving turnaround time on fault resolution.

He added: “We will continue to meet our obligations to our customers by giving them power commensurate with their tariff classification.

“Being value-driven is one of our core values and we remain resolute in keeping to our service promise to our customers. We won’t stop until all our customers have a minimum of 20 hours daily.”
