The draw for the 2024 Obasa Games was held on Wednesday at the Agege Local Government Secretariat, with 32 teams drawn across the Lagos West Senatorial District into eight groups of four. The football event will kick off with a match between Lion Hearts FC and Ajegunle United. The opening ceremony is set for November 15 at Anwar-Islam Secondary School, with Diary Farm Secondary School in Agege serving as the second football venue.
The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Alhaji Ganiyu Obasa encouraged teams to field strong players and announced cash prizes for top teams and individual awards for standout players. The Obasa Games will feature football, boxing, table tennis, chess, and scrabble, all for Under-19 male and female participants from Lagos West.
