The Lagos State Taskforce has issued a warning against the obstruction of public roads for parties or religious gatherings, emphasising that this practice disrupts traffic and violates state regulations.
In a statement signed by spokesperson Gbadeyan Abdulraheem, the taskforce highlighted its commitment to maintaining order and ensuring traffic flows smoothly across Lagos.
The statement specifically mentioned Lawani Street in Yaba, Ganiyu Lamina Street at Ijaye Ojokoro, and Raymond Njoku Street in Ikoyi as areas where such incidents have been reported.
“Blocking roads for parties or religious events is illegal, and those involved will face the full weight of the law,” the taskforce warned.
