The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a cocaine kingpin, Ndive Maxwell Obinna, with five of his associates at Ago Palace Way in Okota, Isolo.

Why it matters: The arrest marks another milestone in the NDLEA’s fight against drug trafficking in Lagos.

Go deeper: The agency also arrested a Chinese citizen, Tianzhen Yen, in a separate location, after he was traced to his hotel room when the NDLEA.

Quote: The Chinese citizen was traced “to MC Hotel behind Alade market, Allen Avenue, Ikeja,” the NDLEA said.
