The Ministry of Youth and Social Development has announced plans to hold the 2024 Ibile Youth Academy with a month-long series of leadership training activities. The ministry said over 3763 applications were received for the trainings while 1,228 applicants were selected for physical screenings.
“This year’s Ibile Youth Academy will be one of a kind, introducing significant changes to address gaps identified in previous editions,” commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlende said. “We have lined up diverse leadership training activities to be led by experienced facilitators from various fields, equipping our youth with the skills needed to compete globally. Ultimately, the academy aims to produce leaders with a global outlook,” said Mr Ogunlende.”
