- Lagos Assembly and injured Agege student
A 13-year old secondary school student in Agege, who got injured when the Nigerian Police Force attempted to disperse unruly students in the area has caught the attention of the Lagos State House of Assembly. The Record reports that the House had initially called for support for the treatment of the injured girl and later urged the State to provide her with scholarship.

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has rolled out a number of palliative measures to ease the hardship being witnessed by residents in the wake of the removal of fuel subsidy and other attendant challenges, The Record reports.
- Moving Computer Village
Lagos State authorities have for the umpteenth time announced the relocation of Ikeja Computer Village to Katangu market in Abule Egba part of Lagos. The officials say they are going to convert the current location of the market to a residential area, which was the initial design in the Lagos City Master Plan.
