Full list: Permanent phone lines for police divisions, area commands in Lagos

The Lagos state police command has introduced permanent phone numbers for police divisions, area commands and strategic officers in the state.

According to a statement signed by police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the official numbers will remain permanently attached to particular offices irrespective of the redeployment of officers in charge of such positions.

The move is expected “to provide a more stable channel of communication between the public and the police,” the statement said.

The Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, as quoted in the statement, said the phone lines will “provide improved access, quicker response times and enhanced communication for the good people of Lagos State.”

Calls to the phone lines will be received on desktop phones available in police divisions within the state.

The desktop phones were provided by the Police Community Relations Committee, Lagos State Police Command, under the leadership of Apostle Kehinde Showemimo, the commissioner said.
