Recall that Ikeja Record reported that there has been blackout in most parts of Lagos following the nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).
It was gathered that the shutdown of most distribution companies across Nigeria, including IE started in the early hours of Monday in compliance with the strike.
It has been over 48 hours since the strike was suspended there is no power in Bajulaiye and Folagoro areas of Shomolu.
No be juju be that. The sticking aspect is that the failed woefully to provide 16 hours of electricity to band B customers. The electricity that should get to the band B and C customers is been sold to the highest bidder, Band A. Yet band B subscribers pay what is required of them by the law only to endup being treated like band D customers. This is totally unfair, unwholesome and to a large very extent criminal.
