Iwaju, a futuristic animation series produced by Disney Plus, was released on February 28, to rave reviews. The animation follows the story of Tola and her friend Kole, as they journey through Lagos and uncover its enchanting secrets. The film features voices of Simisola Gbadamosi, Dayo Okeniyi, Femi Branch, Siji Soetan and Weruche Opia. It captures what Lagos might look like in the future and presents some of the novel innovations in technology and urbanization in the bubbling city.

- Food at 25% discount across Lagos
The Lagos State Government has opened food hubs across the State that offers 25% discount on staples such as rice, beans, garri, yam, among others. The Record reports that the scheme is coming after the State had experimented with the model in Idi-Oro, Mushin.

- Man imprisoned for defiling 13-year-old girl
Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Ikeja has sentenced a man, Nurudeen Nasiru, to life imprisonment for introducing a pornographic video to his neighbour’s 13-year-old daughter and sexually assaulting her, per Leadership Newspaper
- Caregiver apartment in LASUTH
The Rotary Club, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, has embarked on the construction of a 36-bed apartment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, Lagos. The apartment is to be reserved for relatives of patients admitted at the hospital to enable them to have decent accommodation while they care for their relatives at the hospital.

- Ojodu LCDA offers palliative to residents
The Ojodu Local Council Development Area, LCDA, has distributed 2,500 bags of rice and other palliative materials to cushion the effects of economic hardship on residents in the area. The chairman of the LCDA, David Odunmbaku, added that the council is set to build a mini stadium.
- Bad job on Ikeja road project
Tracka, a citizen-led public accountability initiative, has called out Joshuel Global Ventures Limited, the National Research Institute for Chemical Technology, Zaira, and member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Hon. James Faleke, for the shoddy construction of Moshesa Road, Onilekere, Ikeja, per The Record.
