The state’s safety commission, LSC, has urged residents to take precautions against excessive heat and dry conditions expected across the state as the year winds down.
According to LSC chief, Lanre Mojola, the current weather conditions are unfavourable and can lead to tiredness, high fever, blurred vision, and dehydration, Tribune newspaper reported.
Mr. Mojola urged residents to avoid smoking in public places and not to store flammable substances in residential or business quarters.
