The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Region 36 has donated a multi-million naira Intensive Care Unit (ICU) named after the General Overseer and his wife, to Alimosho General Hospital, Igando, Lagos.
During the ICU handover event on Sunday, the General Overseer’s wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye expressed gratitude to the donating Region.
She acknowledged the vision of those who conceived the need for the ICU within the hospital premises, emphasizing the importance of such healthcare for critical health conditions.
Chairman of Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr. Atinuke Onayiga, praised RCCG for its excellence and generosity, stating that the donated ICU symbolizes compassion and solidarity for the host community’s well-being.
She assured that the State Government would maintain high medical standards within the ICU.
Various dignitaries attended the event, including Commissioner I and Commissioner II of Lagos State Health Service Commission, the Permanent Secretary of Health Service Commission, and Mr. Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the EFCC.
