The state government has unveiled 50 young leaders selected for the Ibile Youth Leadership Academy Training Camp, aimed at fostering future leadership across its five divisions. The 50 selected candidates were chosen from 500 applicants across the five divisions (Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe), Tribune newspaper reported.
During a seminar in Alausa, Governor Sanwo-Olu, represented by Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, underscored the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment. “We have prioritised creating a supportive environment for youth engagement, capacity building, and representation in government,” he said.
Commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlende praised participants, emphasising the academy’s role in preparing them to address local and global challenges with integrity and community responsibility.
