Charterhouse Lagos, a new school in the former Nigerian capital, became the object of criticism and public rage after Lagosians found out about the outrageous fee (N42 million annually) it charges for tuition.
Located in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos Island, the academic institution claims to be blending the best of contemporary educational thinking with the finest traditions in British independent schooling.
Added to this, Charterhouse aims to establish a school to serve the Lagos community and elevate the perception of Nigeria and West Africa in global educational circles.
