The Inaugural Isimi Lagos Festival held on Saturday at Epe.
The festival was organised by the Isimi Lagos Wellness and Polo Country Estate.
Isimi Lagos, which is powered by controversial real-estate company Landwey, is being marketed as the “best destination for work and play.”
In Yoruba, Isimi means ‘rest’.
The festival that held on Saturday attracted high profile attendees such as the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Olota of Ota, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege; Erelu Kuti IV of Lagos, Chief Abiola Dosunmu.
Captains of industries as well as tourists were also present.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the Isimi Estate as a “tranquil sanctuary, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”
He added that his administration “is fully committed to fostering partnerships that enhance such initiatives, recognizing the importance of wellness and community engagement in promoting a balanced lifestyle.”
