The Rotary Club of Alapere, District 9112, has set a goal of N19 million to fund initiatives focusing on education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability.
At his investiture, the club’s new president, Peter Kole Ogini, outlined plans for projects including public toilets, youth vocational training, scholarships, solar-powered street lights, and healthcare services.
Guided by community needs assessments, Ogini emphasized Rotary’s vision to “create lasting change,” adding that Alapere’s residents are “taking an ambitious step forward” with broader projects.
He also called for community support as the Rotary year progresses towards its end on 30th, June, 2025. “The needs are vast, let’s rally together and bring transformative change to Alapere,” Ogini said.
