The Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Rose of Sharon Parish in Ikeja will distribute food to over 4,000 people during its annual crusade on November 23, 2024, at the Police College in Ikeja.
Presiding Pastor Emeka Obiagwu shared that the crusade, themed “Looking Back and Leaping Forward,” will provide rice, noodles, beverages, and toiletries to ease economic hardship for attendees. The initiative is part of the parish’s mission to support the community. “Our goal is to impact the community both spiritually and materially,” Pastor Obiagwu said.
Associate Pastor Tunde Fowler highlighted that this support aims to offer “hope and relief” amid current economic challenges affecting families. He also mentioned that through the provision of welfare packages for a minimum of 4,000 attendees, especially women, the church would help to ease the uncertainties people were contending with.
