Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday received the UK’s Foreign Secretary, David Lammy at the Lagos House in Marina. “Lagos is the business and cultural heartland of Nigeria and a gateway for UK trade and investment,” Lammy said.
“The potential for future growth is enormous. I look forward to working with our Nigerian partners to deliver it.” Meanwhile, Governor Sanwo-Olu shared business opportunities waiting to be harnessed in waste management, especially in the area of converting waste to clean energy.
“We want you to go back home with the level of confidence that Lagos is a place to put investment and we will continue to make this environment a lot more attractive to businesses that are looking forward to more growth and opportunities,” he told the UK minister.
