The state government said it will re-install a truck barrier at the Ojuelegba flyover between 10pm on Saturday and 5am on Sunday. According to the commissioner for transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the previous truck barriers were damaged by vehicles.
The commissioner also noted that the flyover will be closed during the period of installation and advised road users to explore alternative routes. The Ojuelegba flyover is infamous for its deadly truck accidents.
