Lagos state, AfriHealth, others launch medical outreach for Isheri residents

In partnership with AfriHealth and a component of Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA), Team “Impact”, the Lagos state government has slated June 12, Democracy Day, to launch a medical outreach for Isheri residents in the Kosofe local government area.

In a post retweeted by LJLA on Wednesday, it was disclosed that beneficiaries of the outreach will be provided with medical checks and tests of different kinds, as well as health insurance, education, and other healthcare services.

On its part during the exercise, the Lagos Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) and the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) will also be present to provide counselling for domestic violence victims and Lagos residents registration respectively.

It was also gathered that the outreach will be carried out at the Isheri Public Healthcare Centre, Magodo Road, Isheri from 10am.

Ikeja Record reported earlier in June that another component of LJLA, Team “Ace”, was responsible for the EKO LAWS Project which birthed a top-notch app containing all the updated laws of the state.

The laws on the user-friendly app are said to be available in a simplified English version, with Yoruba language and pidgin.
