An unidentified man was killed on Monday after being struck by a moving train in the Ikeja area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred early in the morning, and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) was alerted at 8:28 a.m. According to Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, LASEMA’s Permanent Secretary, the agency’s Eagle Response Team recovered and handed over the body to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit for transfer to the morgue.
This tragedy follows a similar train-related fatality in Oshodi just two weeks prior.
