Determined to tackle youth unemployment, the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has launched the ‘Project Loud,’ programme to boost technical and vocational education in the State.
The programme, which is open to all Lagos residents, will run for two months and is fully paid for by the State.
It is dubbed “Lagos of Our Dreams,” and offers free training in “mixology, catering, tailoring, makeup/gele, wig-making, shoemaking, facials & massage, manicure & pedicure, baking, and pastries to all residents.”
Candidates are encouraged to register for any of the classes by visiting the training site or physically visit 114 Western Avenue, beside Qua-Iboe Church, Barracks Bus-Stop, Surulere, Lagos State.
