The House of Assembly on Wednesday completed the screening of 39 cabinet nominees presented by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Speaking to journalists, Chief Whip of the House, Hon. Mojeed Fatai, described the exercise as intensive.
The screening was carried out by a 12-member ad hoc committee of the Assembly which is set to report back to the remaining legislators.
Some of the lawmakers had earlier expressed dissatisfaction over the composition of the list, but virtually all the nominees are expected to scale through.
Screening of cabinet members is a formality, one Lagos resident told The Record when asked what he thought of the exercise.

Another resident said the exercise was commendable while some others said they had no idea a screening was taking place.
