The Lagos State’s Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA), led by Mrs. Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, has introduced a partnership with SEED Care & Support Foundation to register pupils in low-fee private schools, aiming to improve government planning and service access.
At the initiative’s launch in Ikeja themed “No Child Left Behind”, Adebiyi-Abiola highlighted how including these often underrepresented pupils in data enhances education planning and community development. The SEED Foundation Director, Mrs. Olanrewaju Oniyitan stressed that every child deserves education as a right, urging organisations to collaborate in providing equitable access.
“This is a mandate and not a vision. LASRRA’s initiatives can align with the Foundation’s goals, allowing for more cohesive planning and execution of programmes aimed at improving education and economic outcomes. LASRRA’s role in data management, service access, community engagement, policy alignment and evaluation supports the Seed Care and Foundation’s mission to promote Sustainable education and economic development” she added.
The Foundation has 51 schools in their Pilot Programme in Ojo and Ikeja Local Governments and 715 schools in all.
