The state’s environmental protection agency, LASEPA, has sealed a church and three business establishments over noise pollution.
Why it matters: The move reiterates LASEPA’s mission to curb noise pollution across Lagos. The agency recently held a workshop sensitising stakeholders on noise pollution rules in the state.
Go deeper: The sealed establishments, which includes a fuel station, were located in Gbagada, Ogudu, Ojodu, and Agidingbi.
Quote: “This action is part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to creating a healthier and more sustainable environment for all Lagosians,” the state commissioner for environment and water resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said.
