The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA has sealed off Ile-Iyan restaurant on Isaac John street, Ikeja GRA over noise pollution.
According to the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, via an announcement on X (formerly twitter), on Friday, the decision was taken due to complaints from residents in the area regarding excessive noise emanating from the building.
“The state shall not succumb to any form of anyhowness and lawlessness no matter who is involved,” he said.
The Ikeja outlet has recently been drawing significant attention in recent weeks.
