A Lagos-based lawyer, Mesiri Abraham, has urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to urgently address the potholes on Lateef Jakande Road, in Ogba axis of the State.
Abraham, using his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, shared a video depicting the deteriorating road conditions, marked by potholes filled with murky water from overflowing gutters.
In his plea, he directly called out the Lagos State Public Works and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, Ikeja Federal Constituency, to find a lasting solution to the problem.
Abraham further emphasized the road’s significance, connecting crucial institutions such as the Area G Police Area Command, the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and the West African Examinations Council office.
“Dear @jidesanwoolu and @LSPWC_Official plus @honfaleke I just want to remind you that this road is where Hotel Excellence, School of Journalism, WAEC, and @PoliceNG Area command is located right in the center of Ogba-Ikeja. It is not a war zone,” his tweet read.
