Day one highlighted Blind Powerlifting, with 12 male athletes competing across five weight categories: 67kg, 75kg, 82kg, 90kg, and 102kg. Some notable performances included Oladele Sunday’s victory in the 67kg category with a lift of 385kg, and Ajibade Sodiq’s win in the 90kg category with 480kg.
