The Lagos State House of Assembly praised Princess Surah Animashaun, chairman of Epe Local Government, for her even-handed approach in spreading development projects across the council’s eight wards over the past two and a half years.
During an oversight visit, Hon. Sanni Ganiu Babatunde Okanlawon, chair of the House committee on local government administration, highlighted achievements in sports, tourism, arts, and infrastructure. “We’ve seen impressive improvements here, including hospitals, schools, and farmlands,” Okanlawon said.
He described her efforts as “worthy of emulation.” On her part, Animashaun noted that her administration has invested in education and security, with monthly grants to support young entrepreneurs and security vehicles for police. She pledged continued commitment to grassroots development.
