Shortly after it reduced its tariff for Band A customers, Ikeja Electric Distribution Company has announced its decision to add 19 more feeders to the category of network.
The DisCo made this announcement via its verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, May 6.
It noted that the additions now bring the total number of its Band A feeders to 104.
The tweet read:
“Premised on our demonstrated ability to consistently provide a minimum of 20 hours of daily availability during a performance evaluation period monitored by the regulator, we are pleased to announce that we have obtained approval to add 19 additional Band A feeders to our network.
“Ikeja Electric remains committed to meeting the service delivery expectations of all our customers across various tariff bands as we continue to enhance network upgrades within our coverage areas.”
