FCCPC warn Ikeja, Eko electric over meter replacement

Electricity customers in Lagos had been worried that they would have to pay for the replacement meters. In response, the FCCPC has insisted that meter replacements should proceed without service disruption and at no cost to customers.

Nigeria’s consumer protection agency, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has warned Ikeja and Eko electricity distribution companies to immediately cease plans to replace Unistar meters.
