Ethiopian Airlines made history by operating Africa’s first Airbus A350-1000 flight from Addis Ababa to Lagos, underscoring its commitment to innovation in African aviation, BusinessDay reported.
The cutting-edge aircraft, which arrived from Airbus in Toulouse, France, carried 272 passengers, including 15 in Business Class. “The A350-1000 is a game-changer in the industry, combining efficiency with unparalleled comfort,” the general manager of Ethiopian Airlines Nigeria, Wondwossen Beyene said.
Boasting the advanced AVANT Up entertainment system, high-speed internet, and direct aisle access for all Business Class seats, the aircraft offers travellers a quiet, smooth journey on long-haul routes.
