Military Police crack down on unauthorized use of military stickers, headgear in Lagos

The Nigerian military police have launched an operation across Lagos targeting motorists who display military stickers and headgear on their vehicles without authorisation.

This crackdown aims to curb the misuse of military identifiers, which authorities say are often used to evade law enforcement or gain unwarranted privileges on the road.

Police spokesperson Ben Hundeyin confirmed the operation, reassuring the public that there is no cause for alarm.

“Lagosians are urged not to exercise fear as @LagosPoliceNG is fully there for you,” Hundeyin tweeted, emphasizing that the operation is aimed solely at those unlawfully using military identifiers on their vehicles.
